Handbrake in PPM mode

Hi,

I use the handbrake function in order to maintain a zero speed on my motor while facing high torques. It works very well in UART control mode.

I'd like to make it work in the PPM control mode but I can't find out how to do that. I tried to set different values for timeout and brake current but it doesn't seem to use the handbrake function. Has anybody had the same issue ?

Is there anything I could do using the smart reverse function (I don't really understand how that works) ?

Thanks a lot,

Benjamin

handbrake function?

is this like 'wheel lock'? my old generic silver box controller had a wire to the alarm for this and I really miss that feature

It's a settable current that maintains the motor at zero speed. You can try it in the bottom of the tool when in UART control, "HB current".

We actually found a way to use it in PPM mode by writing a short script, defining when it should be used or not depending on the PWM signal.

Greetings,

Can you help me with the code which you used to solve the handbrake on ppm issue. I want to test something similar and use braking on ppm mode when duty from the joystick is near about 0%.

Thanks in advance :)
