Hi, I have a vesc 75100. I've read that the motor resistance changes with temperature, I've used the setup motor multiple times after using my motor from light to heavy use, the value changes between 34 to as high as 39 after heavy motor use, my motor does not have a temperature sensor and I was wondering what happens when the resistance value isn't correct?
Depending on how much the resistance is off from measured value, you may notice nothing or some roughness. In the worst cases, the motor may go out of sync.
It's a good idea to have a temperature sensor on the motor to prevent it's meltdown though.

Thanks, also could a defective 75100 cause a motor to generate more heat?
