My feature request is simple : I need to use the VESC underwater for a carriable tool. wireless connection is neither suitable nor wanted. A lot of application don't need a continuous adjustable speed. Steps would be ok. So instead of using potentiometer we want to use a waterproof switch (available every where) with 3 states : momentary on - off - momentary on. The switch would be connected to ADC with 2 different voltages using voltage divider.
Then, on that, there is are 2 new control features that I would like to have and that could benefit the whole community :
CONTROL FEATURE REQUEST A : when pushing up button (events to be detected are falling edge), it increases speed from one step. When pushing the down button it decreases from one step. We could give the number of available steps in the interface ex : 4 would be good.
CONTROL FEATURE REQUEST B : while pushing up button, it gives max speed. When pushing the down button it gives medium speed. So only 2 available speeds. Medium speed could be programmed in the interface.
It should be simple to program. Would it be possible to do ? Thank you
