VESC-Tool Bugs

Not really sure where to write down the bugs (correct me if desired).

I found a typo:
VESC-Tool Version 0.77 (Windows) -> "Motor settings" -> "Additional info" -> Tab "General" is spelled "Genera".

I found some other typos :
- In the menu for selecting app : "Nunckuk (I2C, Nyko Kama)" -> "Nunchuk..."
- Help box of VESC ID parameter in App : twice the word "used"
- CAN Forwarding help box : twice the word "the"

Not so useful I know, but it helps to make it clean. :)

Thanks for the reports! It really helps as spotting these things is not easy. I'm updating the texts in VESC Tool for every report here.

Got some more !

- When you let the mouse over the "Autoconnect" wizard button (connection label), the yellow label has a typo :
"Try to automaticelly..." -> automatically

- In "App settings" and "Motor settings" tab, help text contains typos
* paragraph "Write App configuration" : "Everyime" -> "Everytime"
* Paragraph before the last one "The full app configuration can also written" -> "can slo be written" (if I'm right. My english skill isn't amazing).
"to share you settings" -> "to share your settings"

it seems you could've countered with another level of typo in corrections of typo corrections.... (I have a typo in my previous post).

Ok, let me try.

"You have a typo in your type corrections..." -> " in your TYPO corrections"
Right ? (love this game :D )

I'm not sure if I should post here or in "Feature request".

While doing lot's of test with UART communication I had to start/stop multiple times my 130kv 6374 3550W Overion Motor with the constant RPM function.

The motor has now noisy bearings when I spin it up by hand (compared to the other one not used yet). So I'm suspecting that the no-ramping up startings kill them.

IIRC, someone else had violent startings with big motor using this feature. So I'm joining him for his request to add a ramping up when using it.

Caught a typo in the help box of Traction control (App Settings -> PPM):

"This is only is only..."

I have the latest Android version installed from the Play Store (3.01). I think the trip stats (RT Data > Trip) are not being updated; they're all zero after a 2.8 kilometer ride. All other metrics are updated (RT Data > Since Start). I've always been able to see my trip stats on previous versions. I've tried on both my boards to confirm.
