i think i need some help with my VESC Setup in my powerboat.
I run an Catamaran with an Lehner 1940-6S with 1510 U/V on 4S... i run the wizzard and it run okay.

The wizzard also setup the Current Limit to 61A.
This is a slow setup for this bowerboat and so i goes up to 8S.. i run the wizzard again, with some little change in the paramter.
The max Current is also setup by the wizzard to 61A.

But. The Powerboat speed is not double.. it is not very faster than with 4S.
At no load i run the motor with much more rpm.. up to 45000 erpm.
What can i do to get more RPM at load?

If the 3-phase current is at your limit (61A) then you need a lighter/smaller propeller for 8S or you can increase the current limit.

thank you for your help. I install a new (slower) Motor 1940/13 with 1206 U/V and change the motor current to 70A and the batterie current to 60A.
Now i get muc more rpm and the rc boat run great with my own VESC Controller
