Hi! The current VESC-hardware has no Bluetooth per default. Some have the NRF-module implemented but phones normally does not have a NRF-module. There are however some options on the marked like https://metr.at/ This guy sells Bluetooth modules that you can connect to the VESC and then you can use his app. I use it and the app is nice. There are some other options and also an open source project on going.
