we have a question regarding the use of the VESC-Controllers for induction motors as we want to build a prototype for a LIM. For this prototype we would like to give out 3 ac signals with variable frequency and a fixed current amplitude.
Is this possible with VESC-Controllers? I've seen that the controller is mainly used for BLDC applications.

People have talked about using linear motors and VESCs but I don't think you can ask the VESC to generate specific drive signals, I'd be tempted to try a cheap VESC and see.
