choice between 2 eRPM

I have installed a Flipsky DUAL Mini FSESC 6.7 controller in our vehicle. At first I wanted to operate the controller in PID mode, but it made the vehicle very jumpy.
Now I have chosen the "Current" mode and the vehicle runs very smoothly.

Now the problem:
In order to be allowed to drive in certain areas, the vehicle must be able to be limited to 6 kph (km/h). In PID mode this was no problem, but in "Current" mode I have no idea how to solve this.
I can limit the maximum eRPM in the motor setup, but how could I choose between 2 speeds with a simple switch?

Best regards, Juergen

You can simply enter the gearing information and the wheel diameter and then set a speed limit in the profiles.

Hi Frank,

thanks for the quick answer!

Unfortunately, I can't change the speed every time via the tool. It should be possible to change the speed with a normal toggle switch on the controller. In the "PID" mode, I simply switched a voltage divider in front of the analog input ADC1 via a switch. This allowed me to switch between 2 maximum speeds.
Unfortunately, this does not work in "current" mode. In this case, I do not limit the speed, but the current. Then the vehicle no longer goes up the hill.

Best regards, Juergen

You could try Duty Cycle control, which is a percentage of the motors maximum speed as determined by kV and Voltage. This does mean that the speed may be reduced slightly when the battery is low...but I can't see any other way other than tuning the PID's inside the Speed Control option.
