Hi,
really a strange problem with the VESC 100/250 (two of them, on both). Whatever I try, I don't get the VESC 100/250 to run above 150A (~155A) Motor current.
Even though I raise the Motor current to 220A and the ABS Motor Current to 400A, at 150A maybe a little above, the VESCs shuts the motor down.
I tried to set the FOC
* advanced v0 and v7, enabled, disabled
* ABS Fuse slow
* High current measurement disabled/enabled
The Motor can hold at least 180A for 15seconds.
Running on 2x7s batteries.
Any advise would be really appreciated!

I've the little feeling that there is still a hard coded limit in the background which I can't overwrite with the Motor Current Settings.....
Did you measure the motor temp? Maybe it gets too warm or you need to adjust the temp limits. Or you saturate the stator and the original detection parameter do not work any longer.
Time constant T and Observer Gain might need tweaking. Please make sure to always use little amps and work yourself up after changers! Observe the Q-Current during tests.

Dear Frank!
You saved my day, and most likely the month as well :-).
I reseted everything (too many parameters chaged on too many positions). After re-calibrating from the beginning (first FOC Setup, then on the FOC page the setup again :-) ) and changing
the Observer to 200
T = 500 (worked but tested finally 250 as well
it worked liked charmed, Motor Current Limits perfect, I was able to run up to the desired speeds.
(PPM and Experimental Tab with tiny short steps).
The 14s battery config required about 20 to 30 A more than the 12s config.
Thank you!
Tobias
You are welcome!
