Axial Flux motor control mode

Hi There,

Best way mode to control a sensorless  axial flux motor ....BDLC or FOC???

Hi 

Not totally sure, but try FOC and set the Motor amps right down to maybe 10% of the current rating off the motor and start there. What is the motor ?
