Hello
I've got a 8kw motor 4 poles and no sensors connected to a vesc 200 amps 30V 8S lipo
With no charge all seems good and speed is good
but with charge the speed decrease and what I don't anderstand is that amperes are not up to correct the speed as asked ? It stay at maximum 13 Amperes !!
Impossible to find a way to overs 13 amps ?! Even a 100 amps for increase the spedd where cool
4 poles seems quite low.
Could we have:

Your motor settings
A BLDC motor will not draw much current unless it's loaded. Is that what you mean by 'charge' ?
You may have set the max battery amps at 13A and thus the motor struggles as you load it.
Also be wary, a 200A rates speed controller will rarely do 200A for very long.
Hello and thanks for anwser
The motor is a leopard 530 kv

And the vesc is a FSESC 200A 60V base on VESC6

I have set 100 Amps in vesc tool --> currant --> general --> motor currant max
and also 100 amps in --> general --> currant --> battery currant max
The motor start well but when I go max the speed is very lower than when I try it without charge !! And there is no try by the vesc to update the current to respond on speed demand the mesured currant is about 14 amps only (very low no ?)
