compatability assistance

hello i am looking to buy a vesc for my ebike to upgrade the onboard shitty esc built in that has many limitations stopping full performnce of the other parts im fairly electrically smart but not data protocols smart. id like to pick some brains on the subject. EVEN IF SOMEONE KNOWS ITS DOABLE ILL GO HUNT FOR THE KNOWLEDGE or if its not.

i currently have on my ebike with links.

- king meter lcd display and access to a factory firmware tool and config software to go with ,,  http://www.king-meter.com/#/product-details?id=139

- bafang 1000w motor that has hall sensors. https://bafang-e.com/en/oem-area/components/component/motor/rm-g0621000dc/

-48V v 21Ah lith ion pack

my questionis : is there any way to make the king meter talk to a Vesc and display its details eg kph, power draw, ect as its a decent display. also things like the pedal assist sensor are probably out of the question unless i do an arduino mid interface , but brake lever eStop stop sensors should be intergrateable ? has anyone else tried similar?

 thankyou in advance

Ben.

The motor should work out of the box after detection. The display can work if you are willing to put a lot of development hours into writing the custom app for the LCD screen comm protocol. Not worth the trouble for non-touch vanilla screen, IMHO. Just get a better screen that's designed for VESC.
