Hello,
about 10 years ago i also build ESC for brushless motors with an ATMEL uC's only in BLDC Mode.
Now i have more time for my hobby and looking for a new good ESC for my powerboats.
First i test some cheap china ESC like Hobbywing... but this is not what i want...
Than i read about the VESC Projekt and this sound very good, so i also want to run in FOC Mode. :-)
For testeing i get one cheap focer 2.
But it is very hard to get the motor runing.
This ist the motor: http://www.lehner-shop.com/innenlaeufer/serie-19/1940.html?MODsid=e6411b811637a113fdd0c220179813ba
2-Poles
only 6 Windings
Lehner say: Voltage 15 V, Ri 5 mΩ
At 60A and 15V it hase 20,6Ncm and 38450rpm and 92,4%
With 2h oft teseting several BLDC Detect Paramters i get the motor runing in BLDC... i have to use I=20A, w=2000rpm and D=0,02
But now way to get any paramters in FOC mode. It only say now paramter detected... but now error in the terminal.
What can i do to run this motor in FOC?
Thank you so much
Martin
Hello,
i did find the solution... Pin 24 VCC was connect to Pin 25 SO1 (Current out)...
Martin
Hello,
now in BLDC Mode the Motor runs fine... but i did not get it run in FOC.
I am looking for an solution and finde some problems i think in BLDC Mode.
If i run only 0,1 DC i see and feel the motor runs forward, but i see negativ current of batterie and motor.
If i run more DC like 0,3 and more, the motor runs quicker and now the current went positive.
Is this a problem from my setup, or is there somethink fault in my hardware. Can this be an problem of the VCC was connectet to the output pin?
Thank you for your help
Martin
