Hi Frank and Ben,
It seems that VESCs 6 are now sold by Trampa to non-beta users.
So, what's the plan now for betas ? Is the beta program over ? I'm a bit confused, sorry.
Should we still go for some special requests of testing ?
Or, if the beta is over, could you publish all files and code (as it was the deal at the beginning of this beta program) ?
Thanks to both of you for the great job !
Cheers,
Clément
So that would mean that the beta program is over ? (and thus authorize us to provide more infos, tutorials on the software, and so on)
There is a lot of interest (for good reason) in the new VESC Tool - is this available to non-beta folks yet? Free or otherwise if they choose to contribute for silver/gold/platinum?
If not yet, any idea on ETA for new VESC Tool release to the public?
Sorry for being insistent but also on the french forum, guys received their VESC 6 but are unable to run them because no software to set them up...
I'm respecting your willing to keep it closed to the beta group, but IMHO, that's not fair for these guys.
So are we allowed to share our VESC Tool privately to help them ?
Ok, I'll check with these guys. Thanks.
Everything is on github now and the website is open for public registrations.

VESC Tool has been a huge amount of work and there are also many updates and new functions in the firmware. I will work on a reference hardware design in the next days. It will essentially be the same as the VESC6, but a square PCB with SMD electrolytic capacitors, mounting holes and a few other changes. It should work as a PCB only and not require a case for mounting. Hopefully people can adapt it easily if they want to make different cases.
Good work Benjamin
Thank you very much Benjamin and congratulations for this amazing project !
I hope it VESC 6 will be adopt as a device not only for hobby but also in industry.
I'd love to convice my company that we can run our processes with it !
