Using the setup motors wizard went very straightforward. Normal remote response. Like an idiot, after watching several videos, I did NOT realize the the flipsky VX1 remote is a UART connection and unfortunately , set up the ESC as a PPM ...
My question is how do I re configure / re program the ESC to accept the factory UART VX1?
Problem solved. Farther down the menu on the Left hand side is the General app . Open that and select UART , then write changes.
Next select VESC Remote App (2 items below General) Open and configure as desired, then write changes.
Quick and easy.
