Hi,
We are using the VESC 75/300 with TP100 motor for water propulsion.
While using the FOC controller we are unable to achieve more tha 6000 rpm in water even when there is plenty of energy.
The problem is apparently due to noise in the FOC observer.
We want to employ the BLDC controller which is more robust. However, the VESC Tool 6.02 is unable to tune up the controller, and do not allow to entering manual values for the R-L, flux.
We greatly appreciate your help

Hello,
there is no need to do more than 1 thread for your problem. You provide very little information, so it will be very hard to get help. Some screenshots/video/config files etc. are the minimum. There is no reason for not using latest vesc-tool 6.06.

Sorry for sending a duplicate request.
I'll try the new tool
Thanks
Following your advice I downloaded the latest vesc-tool 6.06. The results are the same the BLDC detection failed. Some snapshots showing the issue are attached.Pictures.zip
Do not use BLDC mode, it had no code changes since decades. Use FOC detection. Motor current max and Absolute maximum current should not be the same. Read the warning message that appears.

We followed your advice and used the FOC. The problem is that the VESC is unable to work at higher velocities than 7500 RPM (see attached graph. What can be done?
I can only repeat myself: Add more details/data. Motorconfig XML, App Config XML, Logs etc. There must be something limiting your jet. You can also read my signature.
