I tired different VESC Tool versions on my newly installed Win 10 PC and all versions (v2.0, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3) don´t start. A white program-window is opened and after a second it is closed automatically. The VESC Tool exe files are on my desktop and also on an other position on my hard disk - no difference. I also tried it on one of my other pcs without any troubles. I installed java and arduino too.. Thought maybe there are some parts (java) or something different missing? Would be happy if somebody could help me out here!

Would be very happy if someone has a working solution for this problem. i tired it also on a fresh installed windows 8 version with no luck!
Only ubuntu is working with this computer and vesc tool, but unfortunately i have no older vesc tool versions.
Could anybody please send me version 1.16 and 1.25 for linux?! And or a link where to get older VESC Tool versions would be also nice to have.
edit: version 1.16 is working on win10 and 1.25, and all v2 not working.
Disclaimer, this is going to sound very dumb. After not being able to get the vesc tool to work for about a week, I became very frustrated and clicked on the icon a bunch of times. Then, POOF, it opened and works fine now.

I had the same problem bit fixed it by clicking the show desktop button at the bottom right of the screen. Try clicking that one or two times and it should pop back up!

cannot open vesctool on newpc help..it shows the icon but when clicked it does nothing.
