4wd rover using hub-motors

Hello!

I am using 4x hub-motor wheels with hall-sensors. I setup using the VESC-tool and its working OK'ish using the "Duty Cycle" control.

However, i am looking for a control type for direct RPM control. Which control type should i choose?

Be aware that in RPM control the 4 wheels might work against each other and wild oscillations can occur, especially when you have good grip. Minor differences in speed can cause the controllers to regulate against each other.

There is an rpm control IIRC, which drives the motor with the target erpm. If the motors are torquey enough and the wheels are small enough, than probably the ESCs will have no problem driving the motors with different rpms and tanksteer.
