I am using VESC 6MKV speed controller, is it possible to modify the settings to run the motor in torque control, if so please tell me how to do it.

Current control is basically torque control. The relation in between current and torque is almost perfectly linear.
it would be possible to implement torque control from external sources through CAN communication? The CAN function SetCurrent operates setting the limit in operating current? Would it be possilble to set a runtime current setpoint?
