Hey guys,
I have purchased a VESC 6 75V board from Trampa, but I have some firmware issues with it.
After the first start the VESC Tool on my phone warned me about an update, but the HW version was empty, which was a bit strange, but I went along with it. When the update finished, the phone app couldnt recognize my board anymore.
My current versions are:
FW: v5.03
HW: 60_MK5
On PC I have opened the VESC Tool Beta version, and tried to flash the 60_75 FW found on github, but with no success, after the upload finishes, the FW number and HW version stays the same.
The bootloader tab contains this element: 60 & 75_300 & HD60 & UAVC_OMEGA & 75_300_R2 & 60_MK3 & 100_250 & 75_300_R3 & 60_MK4 & 60_MK5 & HD75
Also now with the wrong FW my board indicates error on a LED.
Can you guys help me figure out a way to upload the correct firmware to the board?
You need to flash the bootloader mentioned above. Then re-flash the 60_75FW again. The VESC6/75 is not supported in the regular VESC-Tool yet. YOu need the Beta Tool to configure it.
You need the 60_75_mk2.bin file
Thank you for the help, the bootloader update did it!
You are welcome!
Hello
I have Trampa VESC 6/75V.
After I successfully connect with the USB cable, VESC Tool 3.01 shows the following message:
"The connected VESC has newer firmware that this version of VESC Tool supports... (etc... etc... etc..)"
When I go to "Setup Motors FOC", the following message appears:
"All VESCs must have the latest firmware to perform this operation".
When I try to upload new FW, the following message appears:
"This version of VESC Tool does not include any firmware for your hardware version"
Can someone please give me a checklist of procedures, what exactly I have to do.
I have previously had no-name generic ESCs from Alibaba, and had no problems like this.
In boatloader section only the "generic" is shown.
You need to use the BETA VESC-Tool for this unit. It will be supported in the next release. Reason: This unit is newer than the last VESC-Tool release and the FW can't be backported.
Thank you Frank. But, I've try to find a download link for the Beta VESC Tool. I was unsuccessful. Please, where can I find link for download?
I find it.
Thankx
Can you please share the BETA VESC-Tool link? Can't find it anywhere.. Having the same trouble, trying to update the 6 75V but can't do it.
I flashed the 60_75 from the github repos, and it doesn't work anymore. Do you know where i can find the 60_75_mk2.bin file? in the VESC Beta tool it changed the HW to 60_75 instead of 60_75_mk2
hello, I have the same problem. please if you found a solution can you share it thanks.

I have the Flipsky 75100 With Aluminum PCB. There was Focbox before, but unfortunately it burned down. What firmware should I install for 75100? I will use it for MIT RACECAR. Has anyone used 75100 on this car before?
The 6_75 needs the 60_75mk2 Firmware. You loaded the firmware for the very old HW 4.12. That FW can destroy your VESC 6/75 during motor detection.

Question for ya, I have a similar problem to the one mentioned above. Where can get the 60_75_mk2.bin file? Also, where can I find the Beta Tool? Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.
