While waiting on the A200S I decided to improve the heat capability on the 4.12 esc I'm using now.
I use it on a hub motor on a 20" rim @ 10s (3kW peak), so it's not surprising that I have problems with heat
2-3 full throttle pulls and I was at the 80°C limit..
It's been below 70° on the ride I went for today up a "mountain". I didn't put any effort in making it look good since I'll (hopefully) get the A200S esc soon ![]()
The copper pieces is slotted so both sides of mosfets get the same heat transfer. I see that this is not a mod for anyone, but it seems to work much better than I expected.
