Hi first time for me to write a post here. I´m really have to say thank all off you and especially vedder for this great work.
I´m stuck a bit and wonder if the answer to my question is so simple as I think it is and I´m the stupid one... please do not blame me.
I´m working on a lightweight drive for my fathers wheelchair. And did have good result with maytech V4.12 controller and VESC Firmware. I really like the VESC tool as I´m not that good in µController stuff and this tool makes everything so easy. No I started to design my own PCB based on the schematics of the VESC V6.4.
My question is quit simple I know how to upload the bootloader to the STM32 as I followed this rules. But I do not know how to upload the Firmware V6 to the STM32 via the VESC tool.
Do I have to use some library from GitHub or is the VESC tool so smart that for the maytech controller the Firmware for V6 is not listed as the controller recognizes the hardware?
I´m sure the answer is quit simple but I did not find a guide :(
Thank you so much
You van find the firmware binaries here:
https://github.com/vedderb/vesc_tool/tree/master/res/firmwares
when not flashing the bootloader but just the apllication flash it from memory location 0x08000000 .
