Motor setup (6374-192kv)

Hi,

I am trying to setup the VESC with a 6374-192kv motor from Hobbyking (Turnigy Aerodrive SK3 - 6374-192kv). However in the setup wizard the VESC can't measure the flux linkage (the motor doesn't spin only shakes a little). It is measuring the resistance and intuctanse just fine.

I am using a 14V power supply, and sets the maximum current to be 1A (in the setup wizard). The only thing connected is a USB-cable and the motor. What am I doing wrong?

I got a image of the error I get: http://imgur.com/ZmszMdc

Thanks :-)

14V and 1A is quite low.
Find another power supply which can deliver higher voltage, or a battery.

Hi Pimousse, yeah I figured... My power supply can supply 32V and 5A. So I just changed the max ampere setting to 5A instead of 1A.. That did the trick! Thanks :-)
