Duty Cycle with adc2 brake and no reverse

Hi, I have an ebike with a mid drive motor running a custom made VESC controller with working torque sensor and throttle. I have it running on throttle in current mode with high phase amp but find throttle to jerky on rough trail . Tried Duty cycle mode and its way better feeling at throttle. The only problem in Duty Cycle mode there's not brake switch program for adc2. Also in Duty Cycle I can only make the throttle work or the PAS torque sensor work but not both, either one or the other? Is there a setting that I'm missing or a lip scrip that would work? Thanks!!!
