Simple question hopefully.
When I go to set the current to, say, 12 amps (I'm using VescUART) am I requesting an input current of 12A or a phase current of 12A?
I have an ebike setup. I notice that when I ask for 12 amps under a steady uphill load, my input current always reads back at around 7-7.5 amps. I'm assuming this is because my phase current is hitting the 12 amps (I don't have it in my readout as yet).
