Hi,
I have a 90mm outboard puck motor and an AS5048A encoder. Fresh install and setup. Seeing encoder pulses as expected.
I set duty cycle to some value and press >. Sometimes it will spin as expected, sometimes not. It will randomly "stick" in a position and hold it as if i am telling it to go to an angle instead of rotate. If I try to spin the motor by force, it springs back.
When it DOES start spinning, if I try to resist the motion with even a little bit of force it stops spinning and then goes into this "holding current position" type behavior where it keeps springing back as I try to overpower it.
Wondering if there is a setting im missing here or something like that.
