Hello VESC fam!
I'm working on a project were I have a potentiometer wired up to the VESC. The potentiometer part works wonderfully under control type - Duty Cycle. The part that I'm struggling a bit with is being able to power on the VESC with the potentiometer left in a position other than 0.0V...say 0.50V or 1.123V and have the motor ramp/fire up automatically. Currently the VESC requires me to reset the potentiometer back to 0.0V and then manually ramp back up to the desired setting.
Has anyone tried this type of configuration or setting? Any insight would be amazing!
Also, this isn't for an e-bike...etc. where motors spinning right after power up aren't an issue.
