Hello!
I connected 6 Li-ion cells, each of capacity 1200mAh and nominal voltage 3.7V, in series to form a battery. I connected this to a VESC Harmony 32S BMS unit and tried to charge it with SKYRC's iMAX B6AC V2 charger. The charger shows an error saying "Connect error...Check main port".
The BMS generally has a voltage of nearly 11V between the CHG+ and CHG- terminals (the "charge input voltage" in the VESC tool), as mentioned in the datasheet. But as soon as I connect the charger between these terminals, it drops to around 3.8V instead of going above 20V (the charger tries to charge the 6S battery at 21.6V).
How can I configure the BMS to charge the battery?
Thanks and regards,
Sai Nihal.
