Hi, I use a VESC 6 MK6 to power an F110 racing car. The problem is that, at some point, the VESC's USB port suddenly stopped working. I would like to know why it malfunctioned and how to fix it.
I replaced the VESC's battery connector from XT90 to XT60 and the three-phase motor connector from a 4 mm jack to a 3.5 mm jack.
I used the default firmware when connected to the VESC tool and only adjusted the speed PID gain.
The battery is a 4-cell, 5,200 mAh, 55 C LiPo battery. The voltage from this battery is distributed to the Jetson Orin AGX, VESC, and the Hokuyo 10LX LIDAR.
With this setup, I was able to drive smoothly for about a month.
If anyone has experienced a similar issue and resolved it, or if there is anything I should not be doing in this setup, please leave a comment.
Thank you for reading.
