Hi, i'm converting a lawn mower with belt drive from 1975 to electric. Flipsky Controller is doing great and my motor is a Bosch BLDC 500W for drive train only for testing.
Throttle config is currently running from ADC1 "Current No Reverse Brake Center" I moved the center of the accelerator pedal down a bit, so it is not in the middle. 4 gears on the lawn mower (1 is reverse)
Pedal position in %: 0-30% = Brake Center, 31-100% Current (throttle) on flat terrain I can adjust the speed perfectly. When going downhill I can't reduce the speed in the 31-100 (throttle) range and I have to get into the 0-30% range for the braking to effect... I can also decelerate cleanly here but for me as an EV driver it makes it feel different.
My idea: I would like to use the complete pedal position: 0-100% for accelerating or braking... what are the right settings for this kind of feeling? should i based on rpm? 100% = 4000rpm on the motor... und 0% = 0rpm... so when i want to decelerate on downhill i put my pedal position to 85% like 3000rpm and the mower getting slower?
any idea?
