VESC shows much higher voltage than battery!

VESC shows much higher voltage than battery!

I setup a mksc 75100 on my Xiaomi 1s motor/battery( stock 250w/10s batt). It ran no load of 42mph so didn't seem right. But then I caught the realtime voltage reading showing as 55v! It's a 10s battery(multimeter reads 39v currently) and in motor setup I have it as 10s with cutoff at 34v - 30v.

I reset and ran through the wizard again, it's still showing up as 54 - 55v.

I'm pretty stumped and can't figure it out.

I figured it out. Turns out much of the problems was caused by my vesc shipping with a broken firmware. Installed the correct fw and it seems good for now.
