optimizing ebike - vesc 75300

I have a senli 120-80 motor which is 8 poles and supposed to be 3000 rpm @ 48v. It is a squarewave spm motor. I am currently getting 38 kmh with just using the wizards and going through the process. I have tried from 230 amps to 300 amps and the speed stays the same as expected. I tested some light field weakening and got up to 49.6 kmh with the stock 12-80 gearing. This bike used to go 55 kmh with a factory controller with no field weakening and 82 kmh with the factory controller which had field weakening. (stock motor) Now, this senli motor seems to be lower kv than the stock motor was, I am trying to calculate what rear sprocket to buy. But first, I'd like to know about setting up mtpa and/or field weakening properly on a squarewave motor. (the factory motor was squarewave and they got over 25kmh increase from fw but I don't know the settings as the controller is locked) If it does 38kmh normally, how much increase would you expect to get out of properly set up mtpa? fw? Also, wondering if there is any other settings I could be missing that limit the speed/rpm ?

Thanks!
