First 'hello all' !
1st time vesc user so its a steep and scary learning curve, water ingress fried my 'pretty standard' ebike controller so I decided vesc was the way forward, I bought one and i've wired connectors for throttle(3.3v) on adc1, a thumb regen on adc2, I have no idea how it would react to both at the same time, but my other more important issue is the wires from the brakes which were connected to the old 'brake high' connector and when braking supplied 12v to tell the controller to coast/regen. I can confidently make this around 3v with a pair of resistors(1k/3.3k), but where can I connect it so its a throttle cut? rx pin?
If I cant then my backup plan is to use it to trigger a relay on the throttle feed....
also and this is wishful thinking, it also had one of those add on cheap bike alarms that if triggered made noise and powered up the controller, and sent 5v to the 'wheel lock' wire, the controller watched the halls and if the wheel rotated it would rotate back the other way, guess i've lost that 'anti push/rideaway' ?
I'v not powered any of this up on the bike, had it on the bench psu at 24v and checked USB connected ok then backed away......
(bikes controller was 'fardriver' / 'votol' clone @84v with mxus 3kturbo 3 or 4t unsure and when asked poles/magnets sell said yes included)
