I couldn't find a thread cataloging this information or anything, but I recently had to disassemble my motor and actually remembered to count the poles and teeth on the gears.
I've got a Himiway Cruiser which utilizs a 750W Luxwange geared hub motor. This motor has 18 poles, and uses planetary gearing in which the sun gear is 18T, planetary gears are the usual 36T, and the ring gear is 90T. This gives it a 1 5.65 ratio, if I'm doing that equation correctly.
I couldn't find any of this information with a simple google search, or even on endless sphere. If there are just a few of us with common bikes who find and share this information, it would probably help many more people complete their setups correctly. I know I wish I had been able to find the information when I was setting up. My VESC Motor config was like 46 pole and 3.31 ratio for god know what reason.
