Hello,
I have ten VESC 6 MkVI and I would like to connect them in a daisy chain configuration and communicate with them over CAN. I am using the built in CAN control that Jetson Orin AGX provides and the Waveshare SN65HVD230 transceiver that NVIDIA recommends. I can communicate with one VESC over CAN and send and receive commands without problems.
My question is mostly related to the next VESC that I will add to the network.
As far I understand, a termination resistor of 120 Ohm is needed. The Waveshare board has the 120 Ohm CAN termination resistor, but I am not sure about the VESC 6 MkVI.
Is it there? If yes, how do I remove it? Should I de-solder it or is there a jumper that does the trick?
Thank you for your help,
Thanasis
