I am looking to add an encoder to a Maytech 200A ESC, and i want to know if it's possible ? im thinking of using pin RX and TX as a software spi to do my readings, is this the right way to do it ?

You can add a RMB29 SIN-COS encoder on COMM. Or add a AS5047P to the sensor port. That might not work on those controllers though, as we had customers using third party controllers and the AS5047 was not supported on those. Only Hall sensors worked on the sensor port.
