Hi there,
I found on youtube and github a project (a paragliding winch) that was built with a VESC controller.
My plan is to re-build the project, I already ordered the VESC 75/300 and some more parts,
however the publisher hasn't answered my questions yet.
On his github repo he also published what I believe to be the VESC Board 75/300 firmware, as a binary

Is there any way to disassemble that binary and verify/doublecheck what has been changed in this particular firmware?
The project is definitely legitimate, but I'd still like to know and be able to reproduce the changes on future original firmware releases,
if needed, hence my rather unusal question.
