Hi,
I would like to log some data to my phone while running, and saw this could be possible through the phone app but the VESC had to have NRF.
I have seen the NRF modules, but my problem is I'm already using the COMM port for the controller antenna, so I would like to solve it some other way if possible.
I have an older VESC that I'm not entirely sure of the exact specification. It says VESC SIX on and has a small v6.41 in the corner, but googling this I couldn't find much. I assume it does not have NRF built in?
I also looked at this newer version
https://trampaboards.com/vesc-6-mkvi--copy-p-34848.html
which mentions NRF among its inputs, does that mean it has NRF built-in that would allow for connecting to the phone?
The NRF dongles should connect to the phone and remote simultaneously, if the designer of the remote did everything right. What kind of remote do you use?
It won't be long until a CAN linked dongle will arrive....
I use a flipsky remote that comes with its own dongle, not sure if that should be expected to talk to my phone?
