vesc tool motor help!

I have a flipsky fs75200 esc and I have tried several times to get the efoil motor 65161 motor to operate with the esc. Once I go through the setup wizard and connect the ppm the motor will not rotate but its buzzing back and forth violently when I apply throttle.  I tried rotating the three motor wires in all the 9 combinations hoping that would work but it just won't spin properly.  please help.

Hello, I will try to assist you. Do not worry about the phase wire combination, it doesn't matter, the VESC learns which wire is connected to each phase during the motor learning/setup.

Are you seeing any faults appear in the terminal screen?

After the motor detection is completed and you get the notification that it completed, you come to a final screen that will have you test the the motor direction, does the motor spin the correct direction on this screen?

Did you do the 'input setup' on the welcome screen after you did the motor FOC detection?

Did you go to the APP > PPM > Control Type > and select the correct one from the drop down?

Did you setup the mappings under PPM > Mappings

Did you setup the Throttle Curve settings under APP > PPM > Throttle Curve?

there were no faults in the terminal screen .the screen said success with some parameters listed below. the motor spun very slowly and still glitch when changing the motor direction no matter the direction I selected on the screen. but yes it looked to be spinning the proper direction.

I then followed the foc motor detection with the input wizard. selected the ppm. saw the computer recognize my throttle acceleration and deceleration . I did not set up the mappings. or throttle curve. just assuming it was properly set as I could see it on the screen. ill look at these two items closer and see what options I see.
