I second this.
I managed to install the "full" app on my phone and it says "Serial port support is not enabled in this build of VESC Tool."
A generic serial console app seem to connect to it through OTG.
I'd like to use a cheap phone as dash on an ebike, but don't trust BT.
BTW is there a command list? Is the comm. even ASCII? I wanted to test the serial connection with a manual command-response, but don't know how.
