I'm working on a project using two VESCs. Each VESC is connected to a microcontroller (which is also powered by the 5v output of one VESC) through PPM as well as a serial connection. It is my understanding that ground loops might be a problem since this setup will have the microcontroller grounded to each VESC. Is there something I can do to alleviate this? Unfortunately, I have not been able to figure out a way to get CAN-BUS working for this application, so I think that having a ground connection to each of the VESCs from the microcontroller is unavoidable. These are a VESC4 variant if that is important. Thanks for any suggestions!
