Dual Motor Software "Limited Slip" Differential

I am goint to build an electric Gokart with one motor for each wheel on the rear axis.
My question is: What would be the best way to get the effect of an (adjustable) limited slip differential with 2 VESC controllers? Or is "Torque Vectoring" better?

If the axle is split in two half axles, you can simply run the two VESC controllers and use one as master, the other as slave unit. Both wheels can the turn at their own speed, independent from the other. The VESC controllers do not control the speed, they control the current aka output power at duty cycle x%.

You can try and switch on traction control and see how that works for you.
