I am using a mxus xf15 on a VESC6-mkv - which works fine - but I am running into a problem with the temperature sensor.
Unfortunately measuring is a bit tricky here as I do not want to break the seal of the motor - but I found out that another mxus seems to use a KTY83/110 - so I was calculating the beta value from this one:
But the problem is that the beta value is negative and I cannot enter negative values into the vesc tool. So the readings are still very off.
Would also be nice to be able to disable the temperature sensor in the tool (or extend the allowed range) I can cut the wire - but it would be better to have a setting.
Also wondering about the 0degree minimum - does this mean I cannot drive below 0degree?
Any idea what I can do here?
