im looking to have position control and feedback via uart, but i cant find a list of commands or a lib that includes them.

im trying to control position from the programs ui so i have a working setup before exploring the firmware for uart control but the motor is vibrating violently and dosen't seek a position regardless of pid values.
it runs smoothly in current/duty/rmp modes.
im using a flipsky 6354 with hall effects, with a vesc 4.12.
i know the program says it doesn't work well with halleffects and position control. but id like to use them if possible. ive got a 150:1 reduction drivetrain so they should be more than sufficient it terms of output resolution?
anyone have any suggestions?
