Unable to enable Servo Out on VESC 6 Mk5

We use the Servo Out functionality for steering a R/C vehicle. Previously on the Mk3 and Mk4 we enable SERVO_OUT_ENABLE, compile and upload to the VESC6. This would enable the Servo Out functionality.

Using the Mk5, this method does not work. I have tried using both the master branch and the dev_fw_5_02 branch for the builds. Uploaded using VESC Tool 2.05. The power and ground on the PPM connector appear to be good, but the servo signal is not present. The HW_NAME is set to HW60_IS_MK4 for the build, as there does not appear to be a reference to the Mk5 available.

Previously servoout.bin was available from within the VESC Tool, but is no longer there.

Is there any way to enable this?

This issue apparently has to do with the boot loader that is loaded at the factory on the MkV. Before the servo out firmware is loaded, the boot loader needs to be updated.

The boot loader is available in the Firmware->Bootloader tab. Download the bootloader to the VESC, and save the parameters before updating the firmware with the servo out version.
