Install VESC on ubuntu 18.04 bionic not working

Hello,

I want to install VESC (BLDC ) on my ubuntu bionic because i have a project about driving autonomous car.

But i have some problems because i cannot install BLDC insted i follow those vedder link https://github.com/vedderb and https://mushr.io/hardware/build_instruc....

I can't install toolchain and when i use make to build BLDC, i get error like "recipe for target 'make: *** [build/obj/crt0-v7m.o] Error 2.

So i would to ask if somoene can help me to fix or install those 2 toolchain and bldc for build my project ???
