Hi everyone. I purchased a Raptor 1 four years ago and got so fed up trying to program the Vesc that I put it in the garage for 4 years. I recently began reading articles to try and revive my 2 boards. I recently revived my Trampa mountain board after 4 years in the garage and that is working fine! I got the new VESC tool and found a bad drv chip on one of the the Raptor VESC, purchased a new VESC and updated the firmware on both. During motor set up I get a quick COG followed by what sounds like a "spinning or ringing" sound but the wheels are not moving. The sound is continuous and not very loud. I am unable to test resistance or inductance on the VESC tool. The CAN BUS works. No fault codes. I am getting a "success" result with 100 A current, The next 2 results are zero for R and L for Ohm and mH. Motor flux linkage is 1000.00 mWb. Temp comp is false and sensor is sensor less. I cannot paste it here, sorry guys. I am running sensor less dual 6355. I am using the original S.P.A.C.E. 10S3P 7500 mAh battery.
My thoughts and I warn you, I am not good with electronics!
Hardware and firmware do not match. The VESC are 4 years apart. I made sure they are both 4.12.
I need help setting some parameters using the vesc tool that I cannot figure out.
I do not believe 2 brand new R SPEC 6355 can be defective so I am going under the notion that they are working. They do not have any signs of burning and they spin very smoothly. The magnets inside are brand new!
So do I just throw in the towel and buy DUAL 6 MKIV?
I appreciate any thoughts
Thanks
