Non-Standard-BLDC-Motor

Castle (www.castlecreations.com) offers a Motor ( 4-pole, sensored, brushless, 800 KV) that may fit my purpose very good.

Does this 4-pole-scheme impose a problem for my VESC 6+ ? Or does VESC insist on 14-pole-motors.

And is there a way to simulate this motor in VESC-Calculator?

Did you find an answer for this?

Firmware doesn't care how many poles your motor has.

That is good news. Thanx

But how about simulating this kind of  a motor in VESC-Calculator. All motor samples are preset to 14-pole?

Does the calculation ignore the pole-number?

Or is my only choice to buy such a motor and let the wizard do the  rest?
