Can't update the VESC firmware

Can't update the VESC firmware

Hey guys,

I am struggling to set up my first vesc. I have the Maytech v4.12. I have it plugged in to my motor, battery and remote. When I go to connect it to my computer this screen pops up

So i try to update the firmware which gives me this message

When I press yes it starts and after about 10 seconds I get this error message​​

So basically I cant seem to update the firmware of my vesc and I don't know why. Do I need a new bootloader?

I solved it by using an older version of the VESC Tool:)
