Why Mosfet and Motor HW temp sensor schematic are different?!

Good Morning,

I've looked several times at HW4.12 and HW6.4 schematic, and I don't understand the HW differences between Mosfet and Motor temp sensor.

The Mosfet temp is done that way, 10K and 2.2µF connected between Input Pin and GND, and 10K NTC connected form Vcc to Input Pin.

The Motor temp is done that way, 4.7nF connected between Input Pin and GND, 10K resistor connected.between Vcc and Input Pin, and no info for Motor NTC connection.

Why those differences if the code is the same??!!!

Have a Nice W-E.

It is because NTC in sensored motors is connected this way. I think code is not the same. Capacitor is for filtering noise.

Thanks,

If I've well understood, that's because NTC is referenced to ground in most of the motor.

Have a Nice Day.

I've just tested a 10K NTC between Temp and GND Pins and it works.

Have a Nice Day.
